FAQs
Who do you work with?
I work mostly with adults ages 40–60 who want to take a more proactive and personalized approach to their health.
Do I need to have a health problem to work with you?
Not at all. You don't have to wait for a diagnosis to start investing in your health.
Many of my clients want to better understand their current health, improve nutrition and lifestyle habits, address risk factors, and make proactive changes that support long-term health and longevity.
What kinds of health goals can we work on?
Improving nutrition and lifestyle habits
Supporting healthy blood sugar
Improving metabolic health
Supporting cardiovascular health
Addressing digestive concerns
Improving energy
Supporting healthy weight management
Understanding and improving lifestyle factors that influence long-term health
Do you work with my doctor or medical team?
Nutritional therapy is designed to complement—not replace—medical care. I encourage clients to continue working with their physicians and other healthcare providers, and share our plans and results with their medical team.
What is Nutritional Therapy?
Nutritional Therapy takes an individualized approach to determining the root cause of symptoms and addressing them through dietary changes that include whole, nutrient-dense foods; lifestyle changes including stress management, adequate sleep, movement, and play; and proper levels of hydration.
Nutritional Therapy is NOT a fad diet, weight loss program, or marketing scheme. Although certain supplements may be recommended at an individual level, based on need, supplements are not required. There are no special products to buy, or pills to take.
What can I expect during 1:1 nutritional counseling?
With 1:1 nutritional counseling, you will receive a customized plan, designed exclusively for you, to help you meet your health and wellness goals.
Prior to our first meeting, you will be asked to complete a health history questionnaire, a nutritional assessment questionnaire, and a food and mood journal. During our first meeting we will review your information and work together to create a plan tailored to your goals. After that we will have follow up sessions every two weeks to discuss your progress and questions, and make adjustments as needed.
In between our sessions, I will be available for support via text or email.
Do You Offer Group Programs?
Yes! In addition to 1:1 nutrition coaching, I periodically offer group programs focused on specific areas of health.
One of my current programs is Mastering Your Metabolism, a 4-week group program designed to help you better understand your blood sugar and how it may be influencing your energy, cravings, sleep, weight, and overall metabolic health.
Participants use a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) to get a real-time look at how their body responds to food, movement, sleep, stress, and other lifestyle factors. Throughout the program, we focus on identifying patterns and using that information to make practical, personalized changes.
The program includes:
Two continuous glucose monitors (CGMs)
Access to a tracking app
Four group coaching sessions
Group support
A recipe and meal guide with 50 recipes and shopping lists
Mastering Your Metabolism is offered periodically throughout the year. If you'd like to be notified about upcoming group programs, be sure to join my email list or reach out to learn what's coming next!
Do You Offer Corporate Wellness Programs?
Yes! I offer wellness programs, workshops, and educational presentations designed to help employees build healthier habits and better understand the connection between nutrition, lifestyle, and long-term health.
My corporate wellness offerings are a great fit for small and mid-sized businesses that want to provide practical, engaging health education and support for their employees. Topics can be customized based on the needs and interests of your team and may include areas such as:
Nutrition for steady energy and productivity
Blood sugar and metabolic health
Heart health and chronic disease risk reduction
Healthy aging
Protein and fiber
Stress, sleep, and lifestyle habits
Understanding health markers and building a healthier future
Programs can range from a single lunch-and-learn or educational workshop to a multi-session wellness series.
My goal is to make nutrition and health information practical, approachable, and relevant—giving employees strategies they can realistically use in their everyday lives.
